Getting to know the Esters

Our Past, Present & Future .....

We as a couple, have always had a love for candles. Throughout our home, we have candles in each room. A perfect night is sitting in front of the fireplace surrounded by candles and sipping wine or a good beer. We both believe there is nothing more peaceful than the smell of lit candles.  

For Mr. Esters, the love of candles started at a young age when he was in high school. He worked in a candle factory not far from home. The first day he walked into the candle factory he stated it was a little overwhelming because the facility was so big. In his mind he thought it was little old ladies, sipping coffee and pouring candles. There were people hand pouring candles, spin wheel shaping candles, packaging candles and in the back of the factory, there were the biggest wax cookers. His job was to work in the back with the wax cookers. Pouring 100-pound wax bricks and scents into them. As a teenager, it was fun but hard work, always hot and heavy lifting but overall, he loved the job.

When Mrs. Esters walks through stores if she sees candles, she is always stopping to smell all the different scents. She will almost always walk out with maybe 1 or 2 or 3 candles. Something about candles gives her a sense of peace, even when she has a busy day in the office, she lights candles to soothe her mood. Sundays when Mr. Esters is watching sports she does a home spa day, hot bath with epson salt, face mask, candles burning paired with a glass of white wine, and soft music.
